Create a food log.

For those of you who are new to the Plant Based Diet. Creating a food log is a great way to track your progress. A food log is a list of all the things you eat each day. It does not have to be perfect, just as accurate as you can. Mine looks something like this.

Here is an example of what I had for breakfast today.

This is oatmeal (whole oats). It’s best to get the quick oats. The packaged oatmeal in tend to have a lot of sugar in them. It’s best to use whole quick oats.

Ingredients:

Oatmeal,Raisins,Apples, Bananas, Almonds, Walnuts, and a pile of leafy greens on top.

These greens just so happen to be Spring Mix. Gotta get your veggies in somehow right?

I try to eat breakfast 8:30am during the week. I am hungry again at 12:30-1:00pm,

My other breakfast Option is a smoothie

Bananas, Avocados, Spinach, Strawberries, Mangos and Flaxseed.

This is very filling for me and taste delicious as well.
