10 Day Challenge

 

I am proposing a 10 day challenge to anyone dealing with health issues, like diabetes, heart disease or cancer.

The challenge is to eat a Whole Food Plant Based Diet, No oils for all 10 days.

Mark you calendars, for a start day.

Your choices of Food

  • Mostly Fruits, apples, bananas, etc
  • Vegetables, leafy greens, (like spinach lettuce and kale) squash,eggplant.
  • Grains (rice, quinoa, etc) 1 cup per meal
  • Nuts (a hand full a day or so)
  • Beans , Red, Black, Garbanzo, Pinto etc
  • Tofu/Tempeh

I’ve talked to at least 3 people this week who mentioned when they did eat healthy and get out and do some type of exercise they felt much better and a few even got off of their medication (per doctors orders). Even after going back to their doctors after removing the meat and dairy for a short period of time.

This tells us that this diet really works. If you already eat this way, I encourage you to challenge your friends and family who don’t. Encourage them to stay on this diet for all 10 days.
