Cholesterol and Calorie Counters…

When we focus on things like lowering our cholesterol, or high blood pressure and reducing the risk of diabetes. We can easily get overwhelmed with trying to reduce/reverse these diseases that we’ve been diagnosed with.

Instead, let’s think Mind-set change. We are changing the way we eat and exercising daily to live, not to constantly keep track of your Calories or Blood Pressure…

What are some foods that can spike our blood sugar and cause high blood pressure?

Blood Sugar Spikes

White Rice (First on the List), is a staple dish for a lot of people and and an spike your blood sugar.

High Blood Pressure

Salty and (Too much Fried Foods). The first thing we put on our rice before (All food really) is salt, which too much can cause high blood pressure.

Are we seeing the connection so far? Let’s continue.

Sugary Drinks, Soda, Processed Foods.

These are in fact a No-No. Especially if you are trying to improve your health.

Things that improve your health.

Fruits

Vegetables

Grains

Raw Nuts (High in Fat, Limit these).

Seeds (Raw Sunflower Seeds, Hemp Seeds,)

Bottom Line,

Eating a Plant Based Diet (Lifestyle) can be life changing.
