The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine put the plant based diet to the test with thousands of patients who have type 2 diabetes. I recently met a few people whose doctors are telling them that that cannot eat two much fruit because it has sugar in it. Instead they are given Diabetes Medicine to bandage the problem, instead of being given the actual solution.
Here is a list of all the latest Diabetes Medicines available in the U.S. I am listing these because this shows you wasted time and resources have been used to create these temporary medicinal fixes.
- Acarbose (Precose)
Signs of an allergic reaction, which include hives; difficulty breathing; or swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat.Severe itching. Severe stomach pain Severe constipation.Diarrhea that’s watery or bloody. Unusual bleeding. Easy bruising. Purple or red pinpoint spots under your skin.
- Albiglutide (Tanzeum)
Commonly reported side effects of albiglutide include: injection site reaction, diarrhea, and nausea. Other side effects include: vomiting
- Alogliptin (Nesina)
severe pain in your upper stomach spreading to your back, nausea and vomiting, loss of appetite, fast heart rate, itching, dark urine, clay-colored stools, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes), or.
I would list all of the side effects to these, but I’m sure you get the point…
- Alogliptin and metformin (Kazano)
- Alogliptin and pioglitazone (Oseni)
- Bromocriptine mesylate (Cycloset, Parlodel)
- Canaglifozin (Invokana)
- Canagliflozin and metformin (Invokamet)
My point is these are medications that Physicians are prescribing to their patients which as far as I am concerned can cause more harm than good. Why not let the Food become your medicine? There have been many recent study’s done to show how effective the Plant Based Diet is and how it can change your life drastically and get you back on the right track.
